Enzyme and Protein Stabilisation.
Dr Tim Gibson has been working in the area of protein and enzyme stabilisation since 1986,
when he discovered, along with his supervisor, a method to stabilise enzymes for diagnostic tests.
T&D Technology can provide direct consultancy into many fields of protein and enzyme stability,
with a particular emphasis on solving stability problems in commercial applications.
Where feasibility studies are required and laboratory contract research is necessary to produce
formulations, solve practical problems and provide 'real' solutions, T&D Technology has direct
contact into companies dedicated to protein stability, having patented technology in both dry
and solution stability technology and can provide the introductions to world experts in the field.
Examples of Enzyme / Antibody Stability.
The first example shown below for alcohol oxidase, an enzyme used in the analysis of alcohol was
one of the first examples using the stabilisation technology developed. The technology is patented
and is available to third parties as required.
The second example is for the solution stability of an antibody conjugate at a working strength of
26ng.ml-1. This technology was developed from the original discovery and was also patented.

services and technology supply.
